YUL Montréal–Trudeau deploys new operational platform

YUL Montréal–Trudeau International Airport has gone live with Veovo’s Airport Operations Platform, introducing a new Flight Information Display System (FIDS).

The platform maintains a single flight record and synchronises operational data so airport teams and downstream systems work from the same information. Different teams can access information relevant to their roles, while the platform is designed to remain responsive as large volumes of operational updates are processed throughout the day.

“We’re pleased to have this new platform in place, as it represents another step in our digital transformation and strengthens the systems that support our daily operations,” said Aymeric Dussart, Vice-President, Finance and Administration, and Chief Financial Officer at ADM Aéroports de Montréal. “Having trusted operational information is key to running a complex airport environment, and this platform provides a strong foundation for continuous improvement.”

The same live data feeds the new display system, allowing passenger information to respond dynamically to operational conditions. Disruption updates, wayfinding and service information can be displayed where relevant and updated automatically, while multilingual and targeted content can be linked to particular flights, gates or departure windows.

In a second phase, YUL will roll out Veovo’s Revenue Management system to support the accurate and timely billing of aeronautical charges.
