Eduardo Valencia has over 19 years of C-level IT leadership experience, complemented with experience in operations, strategic planning, business development and consulting. As CIO for MSP, he currently oversees technology visioning, delivery, and support for MSP and its seven-airport network.

Previous stints as the State of MN CTO exposed him to a cross section of large IT operations and challenges including marquee projects such as; cloud migration/modernization, unemployment insurance technology initiatives, professional licensing system modernization, MN Works premier job bank rebuild, and the development of cross-agency, cross-public sector customer relationship management solutions for supporting a multi-billion dollar public sector operation.

Mr. Valencia holds a B.A. in economics and Spanish from the University of North Dakota and a M.S. in Management of Technology from the Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) at the University of Minnesota.
