Charles is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at BCG. He co-founded BCG’s Digital Ventures unit in 2011 and led the creation of its New York Global Innovation Center. Charles currently works with market-leading incumbents to apply technology, data, and digital solutions to reinvent their core operations. He collaborates closely with leadership teams to drive transformational change across their businesses and systematically build the strategic capabilities required to compete and succeed in an increasingly dynamic, technology-driven competitive environment.

Charles is a recognized expert and thought leader in helping companies evolve their operating models to embrace and capitalize on accelerating digital technologies. He specializes in applying data and AI/GenAI to help clients reinvent their core operational workflows and customer experiences. He has extensive experience working with capital-intensive and operationally complex businesses across the energy, transportation, rail, airport, and public transit sectors.

Before co-founding BCG Digital Ventures, Charles co-founded Mercator Partners and served as its CEO for ten years. At Mercator, he invested in and incubated a series of successful digital startups and advised CEOs and senior executives on digital strategy across all technology sectors. Charles also worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Merrill Lynch and at Cahill Gordon & Reindel on Wall Street.
