Brian Watkins is an enterprise technology and business development leader focused on helping organizations build the digital infrastructure required for AI-driven transformation. With more than 30 years of experience across wireless, IoT, private 5G, and enterprise technology, Brian has built his career around connecting emerging technologies to measurable business and operational outcomes.

At Celona, Brian leads enterprise sales and business development initiatives focused on bringing secure private 5G connectivity to complex operational environments, including airports. His work has included developing strategic airport partnerships and positioning Celona for private wireless initiatives at major U.S. airports including Dulles, Reagan National, and Cleveland Hopkins.

Brian has also contributed to Airports Council International’s Private Wireless working group and helped pioneer one of the first operational private wireless networks at a U.S. airport.

As a member of the Airport AI Alliance, Brian is particularly interested in accelerating the transformation from traditional airport infrastructure to AI-enabled operations. His focus is on how private 5G, edge connectivity, IoT, and secure mobility can create the foundation for AI-powered automation, intelligent operations, autonomous systems, predictive insights, and a better passenger experience.
