DFW launches new rewards programme
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has launched myDFW Rewards, a new loyalty programme that builds on the airport’s growing suite of digital passenger services by rewarding travellers who prebook airport parking through their myDFW account.
The programme forms part of DFW’s broader digital strategy, which combines real-time information, personalised services and self-service tools to help passengers plan their journey before arriving at the airport. Through the myDFW account and mobile app, travellers can already access live parking availability, security checkpoint wait times, flight updates, interactive terminal maps and customised airport notifications.
“Customers increasingly expect real-time information and personalized experiences throughout their journey,” said Paul Puopolo, Executive Vice President, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. “myDFW Rewards builds on the digital tools we’ve introduced over the last several years by giving customers another reason to plan ahead, engage with the airport and take advantage of the information and services available through a myDFW account.”
The rewards programme follows continued growth in DFW’s digital ecosystem. According to the airport, more than 900,000 travellers now use a myDFW account and the DFW Airport mobile app, while its Prebook Parking service surpassed one million customers earlier this year. As part of the launch, travellers who create a myDFW account before 30 September will receive a welcome bonus of 100 reward points.
