Jason Cabrera serves as Managing Director, Information Systems at Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA), bringing over 30 years of technology leadership experience to his role. A California native who has called Las Vegas home for more than three decades, Cabrera has spent 28 years with DOA, establishing himself as a key figure in aviation technology innovation.
Cabrera specializes in business intelligence, project management, and enterprise systems & application development, leading high-performing technical teams through complex transformational projects. His expertise encompasses managing large-scale capital technology initiatives and airport common use systems in the 24/7 airport environment.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Infrastructure Technology Infrastructure Library Expert (ITILv3), Cabrera has made significant contributions to the aviation industry. His notable achievements include establishing technology standards for common use systems, pioneering self-bag tagging, and biometric exit processing technology at Las Vegas—now an industry standard—and developing the Department of Aviation’s Business Intelligence and Project Management Teams.
Cabrera holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, combining technical expertise with public sector leadership acumen.
