With over 12 years of experience in the aviation industry, Joe Buechling currently leads global business development efforts for Aireon Commercial Data Services (CDS). He works closely with airports, airlines, ANSPs, OEMs, lessors, tech companies, research organizations, and many others. Joe helps clients identify use cases for how satellite-based ADS-B data (both live and historical) can enhance operational efficiency, improve safety, and support environmental targets.

Prior to joining Aireon, Joe worked as a management consultant, advising C-level executives and contributing to major transactional advisory projects, including several airline restructurings during the COVID crisis and M&A transactions, such as the C-Series takeover from Bombardier to Airbus. Joe also has prior experience with international aviation organizations, including IATA.
